Ingredients

  • 1 pcs Egg
  • 1 g Small pinch of salt

Method

  1. Fill a saucepan with enough water to cover the eggs by about an inch.
  2. Add a pinch of salt to help prevent the eggs from cracking and make them easier to peel.
  3. Bring the water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Gently lower the eggs into the boiling water using a spoon or a ladle to prevent them from cracking.
  5. Once the eggs have reached your desired doneness, remove them from the boiling water using a slotted spoon.
  6. Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for at least 5 minutes.
  7. Soft-Boiled Eggs: Cook for 6-7 minutes for a runny yolk.
  8. Medium-Boiled Eggs: Cook for 8-9 minutes for a slightly set yolk.
  9. Hard-Boiled Eggs: Cook for 10-12 minutes for a fully set yolk.
