Ingredients
- 1 l Red wine, dry
- 600 ml Cranberry juice
- 400 ml Ginger ale
- 230 ml Fresh orange juice
- 200 g Cranberries, dried, soaked in warm water for an hour
- 1 pcs Lime, cut in wedges
- 4 pcs Cinnamon stick, broken in half
Method
- Combine red wine, cranberry juice, and orange juice in a pot. Heat the mixture until it starts simmering, then turn off heat.
- Mix in soaked cranberries and lime wedges, then let the punch chill in the fridge for a night (you can use raw cranberries too, then you don't have to soak them into water before using).
- Stir ginger ale right before serving. Place a cinnamon stick in each glass.
- If you wish, you can serve it hot immediately after heated. In this case, heat it up by adding the soaked cranberries and limes.
