Ingredients

  • 250 g Beef mince (ground twice)
  • 250 g Pork mince (ground twice)
  • 100 ml Water
  • 200 ml Whipping cream
  • 1 pcs Egg
  • 1/2 pcs Onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Crackers, gluten free
  • 2 pcs Small potatoes, cooked
  • 1 tbsp Butter, unsalted, soft
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper, ground

Method

  1. Clean and ground the meats twice (or buy it already grounded).
  2. Stew the chopped onion on one tablespoon butter until golden.
  3. Soak the ground crackers into the water.
  4. Mash the potatoes.
  5. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, season it with the salt and pepper, then mix well.
  6. When mixture is ready, form little balls (approximately walnut-sized) with your watered wet hands.
  7. Melt the butter in a bigger pan and fry the balls in small amounts on low heat, turning them from time to time.
  8. Save the frying liquid to prepare the sauce.
  9. Serve with mashed potatoes, sour cranberry jam, and the sauce.
